CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH BRANCHS FULL INFORATION

As a result of constant and regular outreach camps conducted at Iruwada Village, the Calvary Baptist Church, Iruwada, was started in the year 1993. Pas Ch. George, B.Th was appointed as the first Pastor. Later Rev. D. Samson B.th served as pastor. A firm church building was constructed at the cost of Rs. 2,00,000/-. The church is growing both in number and spirituality. At present Pastor K Swamy is pastoring in the church. Most of the church members are converts from other faiths.

The Pastor placed at Iruwada Baptist church started visiting a village called Aripaka in the same mandalam and district. By virtue of his regular visits and our church periodical outreach camps at Aripaka, a church was started in the year 1994 f ollowed by construction a church building. Many members are new converts from other faiths attend this church

The village peda gantyada is in the suburban area of Visakhapatnam city. churches belonging to other denominations were already existing, whereas there was no Baptist church. We have started outreach work in that area and In the year 1995, a building was taken on hire and worship service started with 20 to 25 members. Rev G Kishore was appointed as the first pastor inAug 2001. By the grace of our God the church has grown in number and that another building which can accommodate more people was hired and worship services have been started. At present Pas. Pastor Anandarao B.Th. is pastoring the church. A piece of land has been purchased and construction of a church building is to be taken up. Please Pray.

Our church adopted Narasannapeta Baptist Church, situated in Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh, when the church was in distress and was closed. We have taken up the responsibility and appointed Pas Rev. D.C. Gideon. Since the church building was small and old, we have taken up and constructed a new building for the church. After taking over the responsibility for few years we have handed over church building to the present elders, so as to enable them to conduct regular worship services.

The Pastor serving at Narasannapeta Baptist Church has started outreach work at Kambakaya village, about 5 miles from Narasannapet Baptist church. As a result several people have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and were baptized. In Dec 1997 church was constructed at Kambakaya village which was named as Calvary Baptist Church, Kambakaya. The first convert Mr. Vaddadi Ramayya donoted a site, wherein a concrete church building was constructed. At present there are more than 100 members attending the church. Currently Pas.Rev.T Sudhakar, B.Th is pastoring the church.

This church, was established by Canadian Baptist Missionaries. As the church was unable to manage their affairs, the church was closed. Some of the members have approached our church, to extend helping hand to reopen the church. We have taken up the responsibility and appointed a Pastor in the year 1996 who was financially supported by us. Gradually the church has grown both in spirit and number. There fore our financial support to that church has been reduced. At present Pastor A.Chinniah is pastoring the church. There are about 50 believers in the church.

The Pastor appointed by us at Zean Heart Memorial Baptist Church, Polipalli, have done the out reach work at Bangarajupeta village, over a period of 3 to 4 years. As a result of that a church was started in that village which was named as Calvary Baptist Church, Bangarajupeta in the year 2002. There are about 30 to 40 new converts, from other faiths. One of the member namely Sri. Appala Narasayya, who is a landlord, donated a site for construction of a church. Our church is planning to construct a church in that area in the near future, Please Pray.

Thettangi village situated in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh State, which is about 150 miles away from our church. In that area outreach work was done for several years. As a result a man by name Mr. B. Prabhudas has accepted Jesus Christ. Later he was appointed as an Evangelist by our church. Several people have accepted Lord Jesus Christ. As Prabhudas has started independent ministry a church was constructed in Motta Venkatapuram in a piece of land donated by the village president in May 2002. At present Pastor M. Varaprasad is pastoring the church.

Baleru, a tribal area in Srikakulam Dist of Andhra Pradesh, Baptist Church was started long ago (in 1902) by Baptist Convention. The leaders of the church approached our church, requesting to take over the church as they were not in a position to support the pastor and maintain the church. The church building was very old which needs immediate attention. We have taken over the church and named it as Calvary Baptist Church and appointed Rev. P Benjamin as pastor on 02-08-2008. Now Rev.T Vijayaraju pasturing the church. The church is slowly growing. Please pray.

Nivagam , a tribal area in Srikakulam Dist of Andhra Pradesh, Baptist Church was started long ago by Baptist Convention. The leaders of the church approached our church, requesting to take over the church as they are not in a position to support the pastor and maintain the church. The church building was very old which needs immediate attention. We have taken over the church, and named it as Calvary Baptist Church and appointed Pastor A Chinnayya as a pastor. The church is slowly growing. Please pray.

As a result of outreach work in an around Eruwada CB Church, Some believers started coming to Eruwada church. As members increased, we felt the need of starting church at Pedagollapalem. Worship service was started in a believer’s house in Feb 2004. Increase in members resulted in buying a piece of land was purchased and pucca church building was constructed. The new church was dedicated in Dec 2010. Rev M Jacob is presently pasturing the church. Please pray

The Salur Town in Srikakulam District was predominantly a Luthern Area. Few Baptists living in Salur were attending Luthern Church, and wanted to start a Baptist Church in that Town. They approached our church to start a Branch Church of Calvary Baptist Church. In due course of time branch church of Calvary Baptist Church was started on 29-12-2002 and a Pastor was appointed. In few years the church has grown beyond expectation. They expressed their desire to construct a church and run on their own. The church has extended financial support. Now stands a beautiful church building named Calvary Baptist Church, Salur. Appointment of pastors and spiritual advises are taken care by our church. ,

The Grace Baptist Church, which is situated in Hamsavaram village in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh State, has approached our church to extend financial and logistic support, as the church was financially backward. The church has extended regular financial help and raised money for construction of a church building. Gradually the church has grown in spirit and number. Since they became self sufficient, the church responsibility was handed over to them.
